Sony hosted an event on February 25 at MWC 2019 in Barcelona, and the company is expecting to launch a variety of phones during the event. A few recent reports have suggested that the phones to be launched are- Xperia 1, Xperia 10, and Xperia 10 Plus – which will have the 21:9 ‘CinemaWide’ display. A new report has suggested the pricing, release date, and key specifications of all the phones namely the Xperia 1, Xperia 10, Xperia 10 Plus, and Xperia L3. The Xperia 1 is touted to be a flagship-grade phone, and the successor to the Xperia XZ3, while the Xperia 10 and Xperia 10 Plus will be mid-range, and the Xperia L3 will be a budget offering. The Xperia 10 and Xperia 10 Plus are said to have been rebranded from Xperia XA3 and Xperia XA3 Ultra thanks to the myriad differences from their predecessors.
Sony Xperia 1 is supposed to be priced at CHF 1,099 (approximately Rs. 78,200) and will be available starting from June. The Sony Xperia 10 could be priced at CHF 399 (approximately Rs. 28,400) and the Xperia 10 Plus could be priced at CHF 499 (approximately Rs. 35,500) and they will be available in the market by April. Sony Xperia 1 could come with a triple rear camera setup, a side-mounted fingerprint sensor, and slight bezels on the top and bottom portions of the display. It could be seen running on Android Pie, pack a 6.5-inch 4K HDR OLED display panel with 21:9 cinema-wide screen and Corning Gorilla Glass 6 protection. It could be powered by the Snapdragon 855 SoC coupled with 6GB RAM. Internal storage could be at 128GB with the option to expand further using a microSD card slot (up to 512GB).
The Xperia 1 could come with three 12-megapixel sensors, a normal lens, a super wide-angle lens, and a telephoto lens with OIS support. The features include 4K HDR videos in 21:9 cinema format, a Cinema Pro app, HD super-slow motion, RAW format support, dual-pixel feature support. It will have an 8-megapixel selfie sensor which allows users to create 3D avatars of themselves using the 3D Creator feature.
The phone will pack a 3,300mAh battery, and connectivity options will include 4G LTE, dual-SIM slots, and a USB Type-C port. It is supposedly IP68 certified for water and dust resistance.

Both the Sony Xperia 10 and Xperia 10 Plus will come with horizontally aligned dual rear camera setup, side-mounted fingerprint sensor, and bezels on the top forehead of the display. Both the phones will run on Android Pie and will support 21:9 aspect ratio. The Xperia 10 will have a 6-inch full-HD+ display, whereas the Xperia 10 Plus will have a larger 6.5-inch full-HD+ display. The smaller variant will be powered by the Snapdragon 630 processor coupled with 3GB RAM, and the Xperia 10 Plus will be powered by the Snapdragon 636 processor coupled with 4GB RAM. Both the phones will support 64GB of internal storage with the option of expanding further with the help of a microSD card slot (up to 512GB).
The camera on the Xperia 10 will come with a 13-megapixel primary shooter and a 5-megapixel secondary sensor. The Xperia 10 Plus, will come with 12-megapixel and 8-megapixel sensors with double optical zoom and bokeh effects. In the front, both the phones will have an 8-megapixel selfie sensor. The Xperia 10 will pack a 2,870mAh battery, whereas the Xperia 10 Plus will pack a larger 3,000mAh battery.

This will be the budget offering and will have a side-mounted fingerprint sensor, a dual rear camera setup aligned vertically, and significant top and bottom bezel up front. It will run on the dated Android Oreo, pack a 5.7-inch HD+ display with 18:9 aspect ratio, and will be powered by the MediaTek 6762 processor. It will have a 3GB RAM.
The Sony Xperia L3 dual camera setup will offer a 13-megapixel sensor and another 2-megapixel sensor at the back. In the front, it will have an 8-megapixel sensor, and could pack a 3,300mAh battery.
